The house and the area
The house was built in 2021 and has 119 m2 on one level with heating under the light gray tiles throughout, acoustic ceilings and lots of lovely light. The southwest-facing large wooden terrace enjoys sun throughout the afternoon and evening hours with great sunset views. The heart of the house is the kitchen al room. In addition to the kitchen inventory, there are various board and card games in the small chest of drawers next to the the fridge. The house is furnished with three rooms, one of which is considered an alcove. There are two toilets, one with a shower.
In the same building, with its own entrance from the outside, there is a Technical Room can be used for storage and where the freezer, hand vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies are also located.
The house is extra environmentally friendly as it is heated with an air-to-water heat pump and built according to the latest principles. If you have an electric car, there is possibility to charge it at the installed electric car charger.
It's a peaceful neighborhood that's still under construction.
The house is located 2 km from a beautiful sandy beach with dunes and the softest sand. The beach is one of the top 20 best beaches in Denmark.
On the opposite side of Havnsø, you will find Havnsø beach, which is also a nice beach and if the wind is blowing from the west, there is often more shelter over here.
There is a beautiful, protected nature area with free-range cows down to the the beach and there is a rich birdlife throughout the area.
It is 1 km walking distance to the center of the small harbor town Havnsø, where there is a cozy harbor environment with several eateries, ice cream parlor, mini golf, and a grocery store. The restaurants are open seasonally (Easter - week 42)
From the port of Havnsø there are ferries to Sejerø and Nekselø. Departures and ticket purchases can be made via this website: www.sejeroe-ferry.teambooking.dk.

How to get to the house
below you will find guides to most of the things in the house.
Should something be missing or go a bit 'fishy' and you need the the right guides,
they are in a small plastic bag in the cupboard in the utility room, next to next to the washing machine.

TV in the living room & bedroom
The TV is turned on with the small silver gray remote control
There is no cable TV in the house. The TV runs exclusively on Apple TV. When you turn on you turn on the TV, this home page opens.
If the TV turns on inside an already open app/program, you can always press the "back to menu" button on the remote control to return to this home page.
With the Navigation Circle on the remote control, press/scroll down once down once and all the apps on the Apple TV are displayed.
Select the one called 'MOVIES & TV' and press Select (center of the Navigation button).
then you will come into the folder were there are the following app's:
- YouTube
- DR (Live TV + every broadcasts and film)
- TV2 (Live TV + every broadcasts and film)
- Netflix
- Disney+ (Film, series and documentaries)
- Twitch (Game streaming)
- HBOmax (Film, series and documentaries)
- ARD (live streaming and many broadcasts and film - with more chanels)
- ZDF (many broadcasts and film - no live streaming)
- Swebbtv (broadcasts)
- SVT (Live TV + every broadcasts)
- NRK (Live TV + every broadcasts)
You are free to use all apps - however, we do not have a subscription to Netflix, but here you can use your own login.
Remember to log out again before you leave the house so that others do not use your your subscription.
cofee machine
- The lid is lifted and coffee and water are filled - there is a water meter inside in the water tank.
- switch on the machine - press ' Switch on / off’
- Press Start
- When the coffee is brewed, the machine is switched off by pressing ‘on/off’ (the machine turns off automatically after 40 minutes)’
- Cleaning: the coffee funnel can be pulled up for cleaning and clicked easily back in place in the machine. The jug can be machine washed.
Hob (induction)
The cooktop is switched on by touch, in the bottom right corner.
The cooktop is switched off again in the same place.
When the hob is activated, place the pot/pan anywhere on the surface.
The menu bar is automatically activated to turn on the current field where the pan is placed. By touch, the heat is turned up and down.
If the pan does not immediately activate a menu bar, move the pan a little the pan until it does.
extractor fan
The extractor fan sits on the ceiling and is operated with a remote control.
To operate the extractor fan on the ceiling, you need to point it upwards. The light is turned on and off by pressing the light icon.
The extractor fan is activated by pressing the 'On/Off' button and the suction power is regulated by pressing the lines. A line on = lowest low power.
All bars on = highest strength.
Dishwasher
The dishwasher is located in the kitchen sink island, to the right of the sink. When the the front of the dishwasher is opened, the menu bar is at the top of the door.

When the dishwasher is running, a small light shines down towards the floor on the right side. When it's finished, it beeps and the blue light turns off.
We recommend using Neophos dishwashing powder and NOT dishwashing tabs.
Oven
The oven has 2 main setting buttons:

Freezer
The freezer is located in the Technical room :)
Speaker
The house has a Sonos speaker which is located on the dresser next to the of the fridge.
You can connect to the speaker via Bluetooth on your mobile phone.
- turn on speaker at the back of the ' power button
- Press the elongated button to pair your mobile phone with the speaker via bluetooth (you need to go under Settings on your phone ensure that bluetooth is turned on and that connections are made to the speaker ' Sonos Ravnholt’)
- select your music via phone
- The volume can either be operated via the phone or directly on the the speaker. Same with play / pause.
- the Speaker also has an ‘Ask Siri’ button.
The speaker charges when in the cradle, but can be taken to the other rooms other rooms or out on the terrace :)
Grill
Gas bottle can be found in the technical room, please return it to the technical room again upon departure, as there has been a lot of theft of gas bottles from the terraces in the area.
- connect the gas cylinder
- Turn on the gas on the gas cylinder (remember to turn off again when there is no need to be grilled more)
- turn the small knob to the first point
- press the power button
- Then turn on the big button and adjust the temperature too small and big button
Terrace doors
The house has 4 patio doors - 1 in the bedroom and 3 in the living room.
The door in the bedroom, as well as the door at the end of the living room and the one facing the garden furniture and barbecue, opens as follows:
- tilt up the handles on both sides so that the door 'unlocks'
- Grasp both handles and push straight ahead of you-out of, about 10 cm.
- Then the door can slide to the right side, so that it runs on the outside the window next to it.
The door to the left of the door facing the barbecue and garden furniture, opens as follows:
- Flip the handle on the left side up to 'unlock' the door
- Inside the door frame, the split pin flips up
- Keep your left hand on the handle and place your right hand on the white frame and then push straight ahead - out, about 10 cm.
- The door can then slide to the left side so that it runs on the outside of the the window next to it.
Robot vacuum cleaner
The 'Lars' robot vacuum cleaner is based in the kitchen-dining room :)
If you're going for a walk or a drive, set him in motion - he'll vacuuming until he runs out of power, and then he returns to the charging back to the charging station.
It is started by pressing the large button in the center 'Clean'.
If you want him to stop earlier, press the Clean button again to stop him and then press the small button with the house on it - then he will drive himself back to base.
Make sure there are no loose wires on the floor that Lars "eats" - he doesn't tolerate that very well.
Solar lanterner
The house has 2 lanterns that run on solar energy. They can be placed on the terrace as you prefer.
Remember to turn them off manually and put them inside before leaving the the house.
Cushions for garden chairs and sun loungers
Cushions for all garden furniture are available in the Tech Room. There are also plenty of cozy cushions for the garden.
Flies
On a calm and warm day, there can be a lot of flies. There are fly swatters in the cupboard in the utility room.
There is also insect spray, which can be used in the living room up in the highest windows. It doesn't take much.
Key box
When you leave the house, lock both the front door and the door to the the technical room.
Then place the house key in the key box as follows:
- Enter the code to open the key box
- Insert the key and close the door
- The key box is now locked again
Cleaning
In the small cupboard in the utility room you'll find cleaning products and a small bucket.
Out in the technical room you will find floor bucket and mop, as well as a broom and a vacuum cleaner.
Electric car charger
To use the EV charger, you need to connect the charging cable to your car car and then unlock the EV charger.
This is done via the small Fronius key fob attached to the key bundle to the housing.
Stopping the charge must be controlled via the car.
The power output of the electric car charger is up to approx. 8 kW.
Dyson Hot & Cool
Can be plugged in if extra cooling or heating is needed. Note that it is a pretty good power user.
The remote control is magnetic and is placed on top of the Dyson with the buttons facing down.

Heat Pump

Below you will find everything you need to know about the remote control.
- OFF/ON Power button
- MODE - AUTO -> COOLING -> DRYING -> HEATING -> FAN - (Please only use COOLING or HEATING - NOT AUTO)
- TEMP button + for higher temperature - for lower temperature
- FAN button for fan speed - AUTO -> Quiet -> Low -> Medium -> High -> Super high
- WIDE VANE button for left-right airflow -> Far left -> Slight left -> Straight -> Slight right -> Far right -> SWING from left to right
- L-VANE-R button for up-down airflow -> AUTO -> Slightly up -> More up -> Far up -> Very far up -> Vertical up -> SWING
- DIRECTION/Air Direction -> Indirect -> Direct -> Even -> Off
- PURIFIER - During AIR PURIFICATION, the built-in unit of the indoor unit reduces airborne mold spores, viruses, mildew, and allergens.
- POWERFUL button for strong blowing
Heat and the Flowers
If it is warm, it would be nice if you would water the flowers with the water from the rain barrel behind the house.

Robot Lawn Mower
If you do not want the robot lawn mower to cut the grass while you are in the garden or elsewhere, you should press the "HOME" button, the small button with the home symbol on it. Then it will return to its base.
Cozy Corner
If you want to make a bonfire or enjoy the beautiful sunset from the back part of the garden, you can use this lovely spot with furniture cushions etc., which can be found in the utility room. However, firewood must be obtained yourself.
Towel Rack
If you wish to dry your towels after a trip to the beach or a shower, you can find this small rack in the small bathroom.
